Wait, you get 3 main dishes per person? I'm assuming they must be small then?
-
I've heard good stuff about this place.

Choice of -
I must be the only person in park slope who does not like this place
-
What don't you like? I only had nibbles during the food crawl but man it was delicious and the place so pretty.
-
Ive been there 2 or 3 times and the service was always terrible, the food was bland and greasy and nothing tasted fresh at all. I dont know, maybe I'm spoiled by Dok Suni but for a similar price I'd much rather trek into the city and go there.
-
Is this all that much of a bargain: the tapas are like $4 plus entree $15-$17 and a beer?
-
Yeah I agree it's not much, but their prices are pretty high to begin with.
-
Mrs. Booklaw and I had dinner there a couple of times. The food was delicious both times.
-
I wouldnt really consider $25 for a limited selection of appetizers, entrees and one drink that much of recession special.
-
it is cheaper than their usual prices. i like moim very much, but it's not a cheapie.
-
Moim is fantastic, way ahead of anything else in the slope; quality, decor, friendliness. The owners go out of their way to greet you and always remember us.
-
it seems as though some people in park slope have gotten so used to all of the mediocre restaurants, that they don't even realize when there's a special one like moim in their midst.
-
Never been there, just looked at their menu and didn't see any prices. is this $25 deal a good deal for them? it does seem like they are giving you limited choices.

Agree 100%. I remember NYTimes gushed about it a year ago. -
They've slightly slipped since opening, but it's still a very good restaurant. The black cod is particularly good. The ribs tend to be uneven, though.
The ginger soju drink was one of my Slope favorites, but they replaces the ginger cookie trim around the glass with just a piece of candied ginger.
The special sounds good. They deserve your time and money.

not a huge fan, but then, when I dream of korean food, I dream of the good shit. and if I'm going to a high end korean joint, I go to that place in soho that the hobbits like. woo lae oak or something.
