Cate Blanchett on Flatbush (!!)

Did you guys see this yet on today's Gawker Stalker?

Saturday Feb 18th at 1 pm saw Cate Blanchett looking absolutely gorgeous (as always) walking by herself against the frigid wind and subzero temperatures up, bizarrely, Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, on the edge of Park Slope. On a very down-on-its-heels block of Flatbush, I might add, but she was dressed very stylishly in a grey knit coat and hatÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â¦maybe she came from the PATH station at Atlantic Avenue, or Target, and was headed to brunch? Hard to imagine what she was doing here. No one noticed her except me, and thankfully no one noticed me start stage whispering furiously into my cell ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œOh my God Queen Elizabeth just walked by, oh my God.ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â

So did a DHer send this in? Where was she going?!

She's in Hedda Gabler at BAM which starts performances Feb 28th, so probably rehearsals or something.

Probably meant LIRR, no? I'm not aware of any PATH trains there.

Yeah, I was being sarcastic. I guess you can't expect Gawker to know what's what out in the 'hood. (Further sarcasm.)

Well, to be fair, the Stalker items are sent in by readers, not written by the staff. But they *are* way Manhattan-centric.
