I don't have any invitations to give or I'd totally do it. Are we supposed to be able to give out invitations? Man! I got ripped off! Or maybe you only get to invite others if you've commented a lot. I haven't very many times. Sorry.

You get your own username and pw if you're a commenter. I am, but at least half the time Gizmodo's (where I spend way too much time) comments thingy is awry. :P

I'm a Gawker commenter (thanks to an awesome DHer), but I swear after wanting it so bad, I've said like two things ever. The novelty wears off fast.

Yeah, I got my dander up for not having been invited when they first started (what the hell? I've been blogging in this frickin' city for five years! I run an all-blogger readings series? etc.) and once someone finally invited me I found I really don't do it much.

No lie. If Gizmodo weren't a great way for keeping up on shiny shit, I wouldn't bother. Gawker is a black hole of human effort, IMO.
