Subject: St. Johns Place
Thank you so very much...my grandfather, Archibald Donaldson Clazey loved Brooklyn and I could never figure out why he was so familiar with it when his mother and father lived on Staten Island. I have discovered that his mother died when he was 14 and I suspect she was ill for much of the time...never knew about the Lanes until I began researching his family. Ellliot T. Lane and Isabelle Clazey Lane lived there at 21 St. Johns Place until 1910 and they moved to another place still in Brooklyn. These were my grandfather's aunt and uncle. Thank you so very much!! I have sent all to the rellies still in England and they are so excited. You made a lot of people very, very happy...
