Green Space Development in Crown Heights South

I heard talk of this project but hadn't seen anything offical until now. The below snipit is from the Capital Projects section of the MEC Annual Report.

Green Space Project
An urban oasis, this project will
repurpose Crown Street, between
Bedford and Franklin Avenues, to
create a true campus pavilion with
green space, trees, landscaping and
attractive walkways made of pavers.
There will also be a Walk of Fame
with artwork honoring prominent
African-Americans throughout
history. The work is expected to be
completed by 2011.
