  • park west medical care has walk-ins. it’s at 207 prospect park west, between 16th st and bartel pritchard square (in windsor terrace) phone number is 718 832 3200. i’ve been going there for years and always happy there
  • DOCS 34th and Park Ave though I don't konw
    I think
Beth Israel Philips Ambulatory clinic on Union Sq East takes next day appointment

this comes up every week or so so search the archives as well

If you have an HMO plan you'll might have to call first, ask who's on, then change your primary care physician and of course change it back again. I used to have to do that when I had an HMO
  • Yes, Park West Medical is pretty good with walk ins, but their hours are not great. 9-5 I think. Also, the staff is overworked, but the doctors are good. The three doctors each take different insurance, so there are days that your plan may not work and you will have to pay out of pocket. Also, they don’t take certain emergencies like stitches. If you slice your hand and need some stitch work, they send you to the hospital. Which actually makes sense because when this happened to my wife, the hospital called in a surgeon to do the stitching to reduce scarring.
  • great thanks for the help. I made an app w/ docs on 34th since it is close to the office.

    Thanks again!!
  • isn't "decent walk-in doctor" a bit of an oxy-moron?
