If you are not watching the Superbowl

Not so for Fairway. Less crowded than usual for a Sunday, but still crowded.

It's also a great day to see a movie. Went to see Gran Torino and the theatre was eeeem-mpty. SB Sunday is my favorite movie day.
-
How was the movie?

I thought it was really good, but I'm a pretty big Clint fan. Kind of surprised he didn't get nominated. Plus there was almost no one in the theatre. That makes a HUGE difference. -
It's a terrific film.

Went to see American Plan at Manhattan Theater Club (thank you TDF). Enjoyed it

Went to see my bloody valentine. Sorry, I will se any horror movie. This one was pretty silly/ridiculous. But, as usual.. I was thoroughly entertained.

SB Sunday is the day to go shopping. I didn't get to Century 21 this year, but I have in the past.

Would have been much cooler if you had seen the band. -

really, from the promos I never found it interesting. -
Well I forgot it was superbowl Sunday and went to the grocery store last night. The lines were longer than at thanksgiving time. anyhoo, i didnt like gran torino and I was falling asleep on it. All Clint does is grunt. It was a movie I could have surely waited for on video and even then I doubt I will see it again. I luv Clint Eastwood but this was boring. The promos had me on line but I was very disappointed personally. i caught the end of the game cause i forgot to tivo it and i was watching nadal and federer on espn.I did manage to catch Jennifer Hudson's performance on youtube and she did an awesome job with the national anthem.

Yes, J. Hudson was great singing at the Super Bowl.

I think it's time for Clint to hang it up and go out gracefully, before he winds up in Golden Pond the sequel.

I KNOW! I read that and thought I'd missed the gig..... -
They were fucking rad when they played Roseland Ballroom in September. My ears were ringing for days.
Howdy, Stranger!
