  • Look at the post a bit downstream on the main page. Appears Terrace Bagels has been closed by the Health Department.
  • I hope they re-open soon. I had to add my two cents in the Park Slope forum thread but this should be discussed in here as Terrace Bagels is in Windsor Terrace.
  • Here's the ink to the discussion on the Park slope forum

  • As if TERRACE Bagels is in Park Slope. HAH!
  • yes since i posted my question here i saw the thread about it in the park slope section

theres some real estate guy on that thread claiming that anything on the even numbered side of 9th ave is park slope, and anything across the street on the odd is windsor terrace. its so funny the way these real estate people keep trying to stretch the borders of park slope. i guess this guy is going to go into terrace bagels, the windsor cafe, and windsor wines and tell them all to change their name
  • Yankee Fan,
No, I don't work for a real estate but I do back up my assertions with facts not emotional rants. Document your statement ANYWHERE that 8th Avenue is the divider. I, at least, documented mine. You seem to be obsessed with this Park Slope vs. Windsor Terrace "conflict" as evidenced by previous posts. It just so happens that my affiliation with the area would be better served if your boundaries were correct, but they're not. Facts are facts. Baseless comments are just that. Your quest to keep Windsor Terrace "preserved" from the yuppies is ridiculous. The fringe areas have already morphed with Park Slope and that continues to spread, like it or not. Did you ever hear about the guy with the long beard at the beachhead waiting with a rifle 50 years after the war was over...?

Technically it might be true, but the "spirit" of PPW south of the circle is definitely Windsor Terrace. Terrace Bagels is not Park Slope. If it were, it would be called Slope Bagels. That stretch is WT, period.

heres an accurate map of windsor terrace borders

  • thank you.
  • eh let's just call it Park Terrace Heights and be done with it.
  • Yankee Fan
Please! You dug out an obsolete site (http://www.smalltownbrooklyn.com/) from the year 2000 to "prove" your point. Don't you get the point; things change!!! That is an out of date map! I would think that a current NYC Zoning/Planning map would trump that. You must also be worried about a war with Persia.

How does this map "solve the riddle?" My website is better than yours, damn right, its better than yours.

Get a grip G2BDON. Your previous post was an emotional rant.
  • Hey, if they were closed due to mouse And rat droppings, let Park Slope take the blame.
When and if they reopen we can then claim them as ours. :D

Great idea! Those Park Slope places go out of business way too often! If WB reopens, then they are a real Windsor Terrace place :-D
