can't seem to be able to upload a pic, any tips??

First, you need to upload it on a server somewhere- I use Flickr- it's free, just sign up.

Once you have to images uploaded, you need to find the address of the image - if you right-click and select 'properties,' you'll see it at the bottom.

So, copy the address, paste it in to your DH post. Before you submit, highlight the address and click on the "Img" button above the body of the post- the highlighted address will be bracketed like this-

but when you submit, you'll just see your uploaded photo, like this-
