Regarding the juke box poll:
Free songs are a bad idea. Why? You always have that one idiot that monopolizes it. I can choose as many songs as I want? Cool! Of course, that idiot always has bad taste in music. I have seen it happen at every free jukebox place I went to.
Maybe if there was a way to use tokens in the jukebox and have the bartenders distribute them. At some places the bartenders would give actual cash for customers to fill the jukebox, but you need to have some faith in humanity. -
Can submissions be e-mailed?? If so, to what address?
-
yeah you r right thats why we only give out 10 credits at a time. That is why we use the reject song button when necessary. That is why we own the jukebox and it has no bad music in it. And if it did have we would quickly remove it. That is also why the jukebox drops songs when you play to many from the same album or play the same song over.
does any of that make any difference? -
That makes a pretty big difference. I was at Spuyten Duyvil one night when someone went on a Blue Oyster Cult tear. The groovily ironic juke box...well...those are long songs...and it doesn't matter how "good" the discs are at that point.
Or maybe it was Jethro Tull. None of that stuff does it for me, then or now. -
It depends on the volume of that jukebox. If good music plays painfully loud and makes me deaf, I prefer crap music at a lower volume.

Mailing drinks would be tricky... Anyway, I'm in there fairly often (as are many of the folks who I'm sending the contest info to)... just thought it might be easier to send files that way than sticking 'em on a thumb drive or something.

My vote on the free juke: YES PLEASE. Love it. You guys have a great selection.
