Absolute, barnone, 100% fave delivery in the slope?
I always end up getting asian of some sort and I'm looking to branch out (or get some really good asian food!) I don't care what genre- when you get home from work and REALLY cannot stand the thought of cooking, what is your absolute 100% favorite delivery/takeout joint? Who never (or rarely) lets you down, delivers cold food or messes up your order? I barely ever order takeout (literally probably 5 times in the last year) so I always order the same stuff for fear of it sucking... shed some light for me.

hands down, RED HOT
-
Pino's or Grand Canyon.
-
Seconded on Red Hot. Rice is not bad if you know what you want.
-
Princess Pizza delivers very fast . I know some people don't like the pizza, but I ask for mine well done and it comes hot and crispy and the regular delivery guy is super nice. It's amazing how quickly it arrives.
-
Joe's Pizza and Lemongrass, both on 7th have never disappointed.
-
Wantana - Thai
Pizza Plus - family style hearty Italian
Fuel - healthy and yummy
Kiku - overpriced but good sushi -
Nana - Pan Asian
J Pan - Japanese -
JPan has great food, and it comes just as good as a delivery!
And when we are in the mood for red sauce pasta or shrimp parmigiana, we order from Roma Pizza on 7th and Union -
I like to order from Coco Roco much more than eating in the place.
Last night we ordered from Pita Hut and the food was decent and fresh. -
My standards are Pino's and Number One Garden.

Oh, and when they have a delivery guy, Dub Pies. He can be slow at times, but you can't go wrong with those pies and maybe some of the soups. And every employee I've dealt with there has been incredibly friendly (even if they don't apparently always use a glove/wax paper--see other thread).
If you want to save some for later eating, order cold pies, keep 'em in the fridge and reheat in the oven for fresh deliciousness. -

Oh yes. Got delivery from the Columbia Street location for the first time last night. So, so good.

what is Pino's and who else delivers to windsor terrace that I don't know about? I usually just go by who is on Delivery.com -
ugh, delivery dot com. never again. ever

i don't like talking to people -
neither do i. but when you send over an order they don't actually read everything you write so it gets fucked up. and then if you complain an idiot with poor grammar and a lack of basic spelling sends you a letter pretending to be the manager of the restaurant you've just ordered from.
no thanks. if i could directly email each restaurant that would be perfect. -
i've never had a problem with them getting orders wrong.
-
Potter, try seamlessweb.com. Its restaurant delivery choices in the Slope are poor, but in Manhattan they have many, many delivery options, and it is completely web-based. No talking.
Plug in your zip code and see whether they have any restaurants you like. -
booklaw, here in my part of the slope they have the same options as delivery.com.

pizza joint that makes good red sauce dishes too and definitely delivers to WT. Also, if it's just a pie you want, Lenny's pizza is tasty and they'll deliver to you -
Seriously, when is seamlessweb going to get their act together and begin to service Brooklyn properly. Al di la delivery would rock.

Best Delivery in Center Slope:
1. Barrio - anything they make - always great
2. Hunan Delight - the Singapore Mei Fun & the Chicken w/broccoli
3. Two Boots - the Mississippi pizza and the Cobb salad w/green onion dressing
4. Amin - Do-Piaz curry & Dansak curry
5. Nana - any of their noddle dishes
6. La Villa - grandma's pizza -

Seriously. Grand Canyon is TERRIBLE! -
Subject: peppino's delivery
peppino's on 5th. speedy. delicious. polite. enough said? -
Current'y it's Baluchi's. You can order online and not have to repeat your order and address five times to a person over the phone!
-
i love grand canyon
-
Baluchi's... finally a decent Indo/Pak restaurant, miles ahead of everything else nearby and worth the price. Thanks Brooklynian for announcing it!
Anyone remember "India House" on 7th Ave. near 8th St.? Never ever more than 2 tables in use, food miserable, green stuff that stained everything it touched in every dish. How did that place stay in business for so long? (This question is for long-time Slopers.)
Howdy, Stranger!
