Best Massage!
oooooooh, I feel like such a noodle - in a good way!
About 10 days ago I wiped out on the steps and ate the concrete hard. On top of that, I just flew cross-country and back, so my body feels like I am 100 years old.
Last week I did a walk-in massage at Spring Thyme, which was fine. $75 an hour, but it didn't really leave me feeling that much better. I've been there before and it's sort of hit-or-miss
Just now I came back from my new favorite place. I've been walking by it for a long time, but finally walked in.
It's called Chinese Accupressure Center and is on the corner of 7th and 16th Street.
My 60 minute tuina (which I am convinced is Chinese for beat the shit out of you) massage for $55. It was amazing.
She did hot stones, hot oil, and even jumped up on the table to straddle over my back and give me a super strong massage.
Anybody who has read this board for more than one day knows I don't work here and I'm not a shill, but it's the best massage value I have found in a very, very long time.
(oh, and she didn't really beat me too bad, she asked if I liked the pressure, so you don't have to get beat up if you don't want to be)

A few years back i fell on some steps and landed squarely on my tailbone, i could barely walk for a week. Sitting wasnt exactly fun either

This sounds awesome. I just took a spill on Tuesday 'cause of the lovely 12'x12' tundra of ice on the sidewalk.
That's not a bad price at all! Glad it made you feel better. -
The woman's name was Tina, but there seemed to be at least 2 other people working
I forgot to mention that they give you a card and every 10th massage is free.
So, for those of you in need.......if you don't love yourself, who's going to love you? :-) -
thanks for the tip
-
even if i don't love myself, flexi, you do

Is it sketchy at all? I've never paid for an HJ and I'm kinda curious
-
