Dermatologist that would take a new immediate patient...

I'm having a skin freakout and want to see a derm stat- does anyone go to a dermatologist in the slope who would see a new patient and see them quickly? I looked for a derm casually a few months ago but no one would even take an appointment within a month

  • Dr Frankel... has been mentioned here before with great reviews. I use him. Don't have number handy. He is on 7th ave.. Barnes and Nobles building. He is in on thursday.. call early..8am.

    Don't freak out!
  • I tried calling him back when I was looking for someone and they said he wasnt accepting new patients! Maybe if I express it as more of a walk-in situation?

Do you happen to have his office no? If I remember correctly I googled and the numbers i got were not direct...
  • I got an appointment with Mark Tesser on PPW with less than a weeks' notice. He gets good reviews on here. He was ok - a little eccentric perhaps, but thorough.
  • Hi... I work for a derm in the union square area... We could prob get you in tomorrow or Friday. If you're interested, PM me and we talk talk insurance and other important details!
  • I left you a pm re dr frankel... check it out..
  • Carmen one thought.. he has a funky answering system. It "sounds" like the call will not be picked up and if you stay on the line it DOES transfer directly to his office and his staff wil pick up (if it is office hours). Go through the automated thing and do not hang up~~
  • one guy i DON’T recommend is dr. george smith on 7th street between 7th & 8th avenue
