black dog @ park pl and underhill police watching ran away..

I posted 2 days ago about a black rottweiler at president and fifth avenue that was roaming the streets. he seemed like a really sweet dog, but i don't know and i think most people were afraid to approach him (or her). at least two people called 311. i don't know what animal care & control's response time is but clearly the dog was moving along at a brisk pace.

then someone here posted that they saw the dog yesterday at park place and underhill in front of a school and that the 77th precinct was watching the dog until animal care & control arrived.

now i just received word that by the time animal care and control arrived that the dog had run away. the idea would have been for the police to stay where the dog was! i just do not understand...

the way it was going, no one was stopping to help the dog so who knows where it will end up ! craz-y.
