why do i get jerks for neighbors.
last straw, i'm going to put up a camera system soon as i get some money to.
A street parking sign fell over on my neighbors front side walk.
someone drag that sign along with the pole and put it into my front yard instead of their own.
I drag it back onto the street where the original hole is at and its back in front of their building.
I don't understand why people feel like dumping their crap onto my yards.
Like other neighbor who threw their waste into my back yard grrr...

It's a talent some people have -- dumping crap in front of anyone elses'
house but their own. I get that all the time, I've even gotten ticketed
for un-recycled trash. I had to stop putting out trash cans because
by the next morning all cans had mixed stuff in them. I go out to
find furniture, electronics and just about everything. I hate it. I've
really got to get a camera also, don't know why I've waited this long.
In the back I get things thrown off the rooftops I'm one of two little
houses between two apartment buildings, it's really hell sometimes.
It has gotten better but still a long way to go. ugh. -
how about random people throwing their dog poop in your own private trash in front of your building? I mean I am a dog owner but I don't go into people's properties to dispose of my dog's crap...
anyway I just wanted to tell you guys that I have experience in installing survaillance and security systems - no matter how big or how small- just PM me and I'll try to help in any way I can...
good luck! -

Why is that such a problem? I mean, as long as they wrap it in a baggie, and don't mix it with your recyclables? I imagine the alternative is that the dog may have pooped on your sidewalk, right? -
I don't know, I feel proper dog pop etiquette is to walk it to a corner
city basket I never use someone's personal trash cans when I clean
up after Charley. I carry it till I get to the corner basket or the one
provided up by the park on 6th ave. I suppose if push came to shove,
it would be better than leaving it on the sidewalk but I don't think it
is the right thing to do. Just my opinion, having been on both sides of
the issue. -

That's as classy as you can be in such a situation. It's not nice to stink up people's private garbage cans with dog feces.

And Armchair, your neighbor sounds like a douche. -
NYkitty the alternative is that the person wrap the poop in a plastic bag and walk to the street corner and dispose of it like everyone else does...
Lately i've been noticing alot of fecal matter on the sidewalks around trees and even on the middle of the road sometimes... which makes you think do their animals poop as they walk??? -
Perky.. I have dogs and yes sometimes dogs just "stop" and poop, even in the middle of the street as you cross but No matter where it happens I pick it up and dispose of it properly. So blame the owner not the dog for the situation. Yeah and sometimes they poop between avenues and you have to carry that stinky bag to the next corner to dispose of it in a public receptacle but most dog owners do that in PS and all over the City. Hey some don't and gotta blame the owner for that one, too.

wouldn't it take just about the same amount of effort to put the sign at the curb as it would to put it in your yard? people are weird.

regarding dog poop - it's nasty when i open my garbage can to find a few stinking bags of dog crap. sanitation usually doesn't shake my cans out so i've gotta get them out and put the dog poop in the proper garbage bag.
put your dogs poop in your own garbage, or a public trash can. -
yeah i get every ones trash into my trash bins also. their recycle stuff to none recycle bins, what ever take out they ate, from outside
. really sucks. unlike inside trash where every ones stuff is insider their garbage bags, these are just unsorted garbage.
also i have a paper recycle bin inside the building so paper don't get wet. but people throw their paper recycles into my regular bins.
yeah bunch of douches.
I'll go check today to see if they put the pull back into my front yard or left it where i left it. -
its a damn trash can.
Its filled with trash. People can put whatever the hell they want in my trash. Well I draw the line at fire.
recycling is a different story however. -

my trash is sorted so they can be recycled and what not, but folks who put trash from the outside don't care where the stuff goes. i wish the city sort the trash themselves less of a headache for me. -
fair enough
