  • pfft. Guess I'll be watching it by myself on my big honkin' tv
  • I love FOTC! Already saw it online. I think I'm starting to like Murray the best. He's so dorky yet likable.
  • stupid fucking HD DVR messed me up. I won't see it until tomorrow :-(
  • murray and his own song! LOL
  • I missed it! Stupid band practice and forgetting to DVR this shit! It'll be on demand by tomorrow right? I forget how that works.
  • well, FWIW i loved the first 10 minutes and then, IMO, it just petered out. other than Murray's song, not a strong start to the season. the preview for next week, though, looked more like the Conchords we know and love.
  • I'll have to catch it online. I got rid of HBO a couple of months ago. It was HBO or having to drink PBR. I chose to not have to drink PBR.

yah, I wasn't too impressed. I didn't like the songs or the storyline. Next week looks much more like the FotC I love
  • Gads! Unfavorable reviews! Oh well, I'll just haveta see for myself.
  • I believe you can see it here: http://www.hbo.com/conchords/
  • I just saw it's also gonna rerun at 9. I'll just wait it out, thanks though!
  • FOTC was MUCH better last night than it was during the premier. I liked the songs too, especially Sugar Lumps.
  • Agreed! I hadta DVR it cause my band insists on rehearsing on Sundays. But I just watched it and was it more than made up for the so-so-ness of episode one. Sugar Lumps could be the next Boom Boom.
  • Who's the Boom King?

I DVR'd it too, but watched it tonight.

    I loved Mel's "massage"
  • Oh jeebus, that was an amazing new level of her creepster eyes. Loved it.

I really did not know Jermaine could bump and grind like that. Especially when he was gettin' down and dirty with that pole.
  • The pole dance/peep show was very funny. I liked all of the dancing in Sugar Lumps - even the extras were getting down
  • Wow, I just started watching the first season after seeing this thread and it is so great.

You made a very wise decision in your life.
  • Asshole....caserole...profiterole....I've got hurt feelings :-)
  • I take it from your smiley Flexi that it was a good one tonight? I just got home from Boston and am way to tired to fire up the ol DVR, will haveta wait til tomorrow night.
  • it was "eh". Murray and others were singing again. I'd say that this was fair...not as bad as episode 1 and not as good as episode 2
  • Hrmm, guess I'll just haveta see for myself. I do like it when Murray sings, but I don't want it to become a constant thing.
  • Too many dicks on the dance floor!

This was a good one :-)
  • i think im gonna have myself a little sit down with all of this new season so far today seeing as i have absolutely nothing to do but check a few work emails.

    beer, check
    mini chicken tacos, check
    hot sauce, check
    DVR loaded with Conchords, check

i love days off from work 8)
  • go for it. It's been very uneven for me. I liked episodes 2&4 a lot, but not 1&3
  • Yea it's been about the same for me this season. I wanna give em all a chance to be seen together in order, maybe i'll look at em differently with not having an expectation to be met.
  • Sugar Lumps and Too Many Dicks on the Dancefloor are by far the best performances so far this season
  • I cant wait to hear/see Too Many Dicks on the Dancefloor.

  • Needless to say, NSFW.
  • ha ha ha...thanks Carnie. I loved this one!
