Subject: What's happening to BUILD office?

I walked by the BUILD (Brooklyn United for Innovative Local Development) offices on Vanderbilt between Bergen and St. Marks the other day and noticed the space is cleaned out and a "For Rent" sign on the door, although the BUILD awning is still up.

Anyone know anything more? are they moving or closing down? In the wake of their past tax form goof i wondered if Ratner stopped donating free office space...

Seb.

Ratner moved his group BUILD to that building (rent free), which he owns, back in August 2005. BUILD kept the Vanderbilt office open in addition, but recently closed it. Now BUILD's world headquarters are in the center of Ratner's proposed footprint, on a street that Marie Louis recently said was "not safe to walk on at night."
