I finally brought my place at 323 st marks ave — Brooklynian

I finally brought my place at 323 st marks ave

yay took about 8 months finally those fools signed.

Only thing I dislike about the area. some fool keeps throwing garbage bags into my garbage pickup spot. I was told by my neighbor I could only throw away 3 bags at a time. some fool been throwing like alot of bags there. If i get a ticket someone in the hood is gonna go down.

I have to wait for my contractor to get me my dumpster soon. I clean out the front yard already but jackasses are throwing stuff there anyway.

  • I got 6 families worth of junk to clean out.
  • Congrat's armchair, looking forward to seeing that place fixed up.

I think your trash troubles will be over once people see that someone is taking care of that building. When they see something neglected they think they can just throw their trash there.
  • Did you buy the old crack & ho house? COngrats and Good luck, that's got to be a serious mess inside there. I could tell you a few stories about the old inhabitants.

We clean half the house so far. all pack to down stairs. I just have to wait till my contractor gets the permits. so i can go get a dumpster and throw them all out.

  • One story I was was told {by the great guys who run the parking lot next door}: There was some kind of unresolved argument between your former tenants and the NokNok car repair guys, so one night the tenants {for lack of a better word} cut a hole in the roof of NokNok garage, climbed in, stole a bunch of tools, then climbed out and sh*t and urinated down the hole. Charming, eh?
  • Hey armchair, just an idea... you might want to edit that message to take your phone number out and private message it instead. As nice as most of the people on DH are, it's never a great idea to put your phone number out there online!

lol i found shit and other stuff in the house :p. and also one of hte former tenants came or someone claiming to be it. telling me he still got stuff up there. i told him i was leaving at like 6pm. it was like 2pm at that time. he said he'll be back. and he never came back to get his stuff.
  • I'm sure I can't even imagine what you found in there. :o It's great your renovating that house.

Oh, okay then! Never mind... :)
  • don't forget to build the DH clubhouse... should it be the penthouse suite or garden level?! :P
  • dh club house :Phuh. hehe i'll build a tree house (always wanted to and i can host the dh club house in it :) ).

right now there is a "former tenant" picking through the 3rd floor. i left him there, i told him i'll be back by 8 or 9pm and he better be done. cuase tomorrow morning the dumpster gonna come and everything gonna be in it.

I feel bad for the guy cause the former owners were jerk offs. i hate dealing with them. they didnt even show up for one of the signings we were there at their office. they didnt cancle till my lawyer called to ask where are you guys. and during the final signing. the guy argue with his own lawyers and their partners etc... i had to pay extra 200 bucks to my lawyer :p. we started at like 4pm and ended at like 8pm signing.
  • sje, is this the house that had all the loud parties out on the street at like....4am? I was wondering why things had quieted down the past few months. Between them and the faux bird noises, I thought I was losing my mind!

Congrats on the new purchase armchairwarrior!
  • Cool...make it pretty...I can see it from my roof when I'm smoking cigars.
  • I think the guy who lives on the third floor is nuts. cause the garbage seems to be collected over many years. he probably threw them parties.

I'll make it pretty as possible :p within my budget. i'm going literally broke over this house. much more trouble than expected.
