Apparently Something Has Been Done!
In regards to an earlier post about the fire alarm going off for several days in the little Bank Of America kiosk on 7th Ave:

My pity goes out to whoever has to live above and around that constant mind droning ringing noise that's been coming from there recently but more then being a little fed up might have led to what I saw the other night while going up 7th Ave.
As I was walking past the neighboring convenience store I started to hear the distant sound of the alarm going off again sounding weaker but still loud enough where I could hear it from outside and a few doors down. Then I had to say "whoa" as I walked past and saw that it appeared someone had taken the liberty of pulling out the alarm handle or whatever it is that is making the noise and they had yanked it right out of the wall and left it dangling by the wires. If it was someone taking matters into their own hands haha good for you! I mean unless it was lazy workers working on it or something? It was still going though although in a faint kinda dying type way but it was still pretty loud and I wouldn't want to hear that all night either. What I thought was if someone went so far as to pull the alarm out of the wall then why did they leave it dangling from the wall and not just snip the wires as well? Maybe they caught themselves half way through it and thought oh shit I must be on camera or just yanking it out the wall was enough of a vent for them. I guess with the damn thing going off for days on end someone might have took matters into their own hands.
