What I can't figure out is that weird third arm... WTF??

Holly shit!!
I hadn't noticed that! Maybe that's what the controversy surrounding Pamela Anderson's new video is about!
I've heard of third nipples, but third arms?? -
Weird.
I did not approve that ad. -
Oh don't be shy DH. In this ressesion we need to get our ad revenue where ever we can
-
Well, it beats the meat that's been there the past week.
-
I had to turn off the AdBlock to see what the fuss was about... Man, those things keep getting bigger, more fake and less appealing every time I see her...

Was that a pun? -
Also, why is her third arm (or is it really a shriveled leg?) using an abacus?

The average breast size of chickens has grown considerably over time....so you really don't have to choose. Big breasted steroid laden tortured chickens it is!!

Why are you people not using Firefox with Adblock Plus?
-
I block all ads *but* the side ad.
More for bizarre entertainment value than anything else.
Otherwise, "test" fills me with all kinds of happy. -

No joke. And if you hit the Brooklynian Flickr badge image lottery just right, you get this at upper left:

Thanks. No really. -

That's Brooklyn's version of the "horse in the bed" threat -
Ad blocking? Not again. Public service announcement:
Blocking ads is killing Brooklynian.
I'm sure that is amusing to everybody who is proud to surf the internet ad-free... but it's true.
Already, the economic crash has practically vaporized the meager economic incentive I once had to run this site and keep the lights on. Blocking ads makes it that much worse.
We get advertiser attention by the number of ad impressions, and of course by people clicking on google ads.
I know everyone is conditioned to believe that everything on the internet should be free and without consequence.
In the early days of Brooklynian we had an impromptu fundraiser, started by the users, that was staggeringly successful. I don't want to resort to Public Radio beg-a-thons, but maybe that's the only way to go, especially as this site outgrows its current shared server.
For now, could you please at least consider the consequences of "sticking it to the man" through blocking ads, which only hurts independent websites like Brooklynian. Hate to pull the mom-and-pop card, but the practice of adblocking indeed tips the balance to the hands of the media giants.
