Park Slope Farm at 106 7th Avenue near Union Street is great! It's open TWENTY FOUR and has a FRIENDLY staff that's eager to please customers (unlike Union Market's abusive and neglectful staff). Although its produce selection is small, its fresh fruit and vegetables are slightly less money than what Key Food, which is NOT open 24 hours, sells. Park Slope Farm also sells some products that Back to the Land sells, including canned Indian sauces that taste better than Amin's food and FRESH-out-of-the-fruit JUICE.

I usually go to Flatbush Avenue for 24 hour service. It's nice to have another option.

The only bad thing is Park Slope Farm's small size. Everything we crave cannot be crammed into such a small space.

    i totally agree. GREAT new place to have around.

    i've already been in here quite a few times. it's clean, bright, and the owner seems really nice.

    sometimes when i get home at 1am, i want to pick up something to eat or drink, and this has become my go-to place...

    Rossmans for produce 24/7.

    They have packaged goods as well, but not everything you would find at a supermarket or bodega (e.g. toilet paper)

    agree mama! that market is indeed the absolute best!

    but for late night or middle of the night runs, close proximity to one's house is KEY!!!

    we needed something like this in this area of 7th avenue. everything else closes so darn early!

    This small grocery store must not be doing too good. There is a sign in the window: "STORE FOR RENT."

    I wish there were a good 24-hour grocery in South Slope/WT. And I wish both Union Markets would just fire about 80% of their staff. I'm used to mediocre customer service, but most of the time I feel like the UM employees don't even want us coming into their store, getting in their way and making them have to, like, work and stuff.

    ITA about the Union Market staff. It's comical how bad the service is across the board. And the produce is miserable given the price.

    A Union Market employee once spilled liquid on my pants and did not even apologize. The employee and I had a long quiet stare at each other. It was too weird to anger me.

    Another time an employee refused to give me a piece of meat behind glass that I wanted. As soon as I asked to speak to the employee's manager, the employee handed the exact cut I wanted right over.

    Union Market's pre-made deli entrees are tasty, but more expensive than many tastier restaurant options.

    I wonder what employee orientation is like there. Do Union Market owners instruct employees to irritate customers?

    I haven't bought anything from Union Market in at least a year. I just got exhausted from it.
