545 (etc.) Prospect Place Issues: CO and bedbugs?

I just moved from 475 St. Mark's over to 545 Prospect. THEN, I just found all the old threads on here re: no Certificates of Occupancy for the old Jewish Hospital buildings, as well as bedbug issues at 545 Prospect. However, most of the posts seem to stop months ago.

Any recent updates from anyone?

I had a great 1.5 bedroom to myself at 475 St. Mark's where I was living since April 2007, and give it up to share a HUGE 3BR/2bath at 545 Prospect with a friend as I'm saving about $300/month on rent for the share. And the LL was happy to transfer my lease & security deposit, otherwise I never could've afforded to do it. I'm just wondering if I moved myself right into bedbug issues... blech!

Also, I was a little shocked to see all the negative comments on here re: Alma Realty, as they've always been great to me. I've not had any management problems in the 2 years I've lived in their building. Mike in the management office at 480/488 St. Mark's has always been friendly, helpful & accommodating - and everyone I've spoken with on the phone at Alma's offices in LIC have been similarly pleasant to deal with. Of course, I've never called with complaints or problems, so maybe that accounts for my positive experience. Or have they just cleaned up their act lately?
