I need more delivery options! — Brooklynian

I need more delivery options!

I'm sick. I want pho. Or some sort of noodle soup that doesn't come from the "bulletproof chinese" on the corner.

Bombay Masala was willing to deliver this way... Any other good recommendations from that area? (Thanks for that by the way- it is AMAZING. We've ordered from there twice, that's a lot for US).

  • You can probably get some udon from sushi tatsu on Franklin. Not sure of their number. The consensus is that the sushi sucks, but I've had no problem with their tempura.
  • we ordered from bombay masala today! yum!

homage - burgers of all sorts - park at franklin
slice of brooklyn - pizza and italian - franklin at prospect
chevellas - mexican - classon at park
  • oh my god. bombay masala. Heavenly. And I think they gave us a free meat paratha with our order (or screwed up in our favor).

Lamb with spinach is my favorite. YUM.
  • what street are you on? sushi gen is my go-to for japanese (about 98549843 times tastier than sushi tatsu and also cheaper) and they deliver as far as bedford i think. i like their seafood sukiyaki soup.

don't think there's any vietnamese around unfortunately :(
  • Brooklyn Take Out Taxi delivers to Crown Heights, among other areas, from various restaurants in Brooklyn: http://www.brooklyntakeouttaxi.com/Home_Page.html

I've never tried them myself, but its a novel idea.
  • WOW! Cool. Thanks!
  • On Franklin, Homage (718.928.7654) delivers some pretty mean burgers, and the folks at A Slice of Brooklyn (347.461.9572) will deliver anything, including their awesome 2-for-a-buck warm chocolate chip cookies and their tasty lentil soup. I'm also partial to their pizza, particularly the spinach pie. Chavella's (718.622.3100) will deliver one spectacular torta as far east as New York Ave.

Now if only Franklin Park would deliver a pint to your door (or stoop) . . .
  • Whoops--I totally missed xlizellx's identical recommendations. I, er, second them wholeheartedly!
