Mets fans? Please help...
Hey y'all,
I'm a huge Mets fan and a directv subscriber, and I'm growing increasingly nervous that SNY won't reach an accord with Directv by opening day. What are the best places in the neighborhood to watch Mets games? I understand that Loki in the slope is a "mets" bar, but is there anywhere in PH that supports the other NY baseball team and has Time Warner cable?

I think the Time Warner cut off is Flatbush so you may be stuck going to the slope.

Have you thought about MLB.tv? You can watch all out of market games right on your computer for a very reasonable price.

Unless Cablevision gives the OK for SNY. Knowing CVC as I do it's going down to the last minute.
The demarc line between TW and Cablevision is Flatbush Ave. So PH is truly "Optimum" territory.
The satellite networks aren't carrying SNY, either. So Loki is the place to go for los Mets de Nueva York. TW is a part owner of SNY.
Also for out of town games MLB.com is a good alternative. So of course is WFAN-AM 660. -
Looks like Loki it is, for now- As for MLB.tv, I'm pretty sure they only let you get out of market games, so that wouldn't help me much.

that is true. i'm torn because i'd like to get it for red sox and twins games....but, if i can't watch red sox/yankmee match ups...what's the point?
(i don't have cable). -

Cablevision just did the deal (Thurs) with SNY. So if you have cable in PH, you can see the Mutts on channel 60. It's going to take longer with Direct TV. FYI Dish Network offers neither SNY nor the YES Network.
