Can whoever removed my slightly forward post from before please tell me...

And, alright, I can tell it's not a personal section...

  • do you mean actually have face to fave conversations in like the real world? Do you mean actually seeing and maybe touching another human being? Hey dude, I mean like how totally weird is that. I mean I wouldn't give up my virtual anonymity for anything. My keyboard is all I need.
  • "goal of the bored"

Perfect. That says it all, I think.
  • To assimilate all organic life forms? No, wait, that's the goal of the Borg. Sorry, I don't have any idea what the goal of the bored is. To amuse themselves, I presume?
  • I can't talk to my neighbors at work.
  • no, no, no....... the goal of the board is to avoid indictment
  • what's boring about avoiding indictment?

    and

isn't the trouble with the bored that they have no goal?
  • no, no, no..... those of the board who are bored in the gaol didn't escape indictment
  • oohhhhhh....

you mean the bored gaol-boarded board.

    i see.
  • I think the board is a maven (a person who controls a word of mouth epidemic as in Malcolm Gladwell's Tipping Point). Besides killing time at work, it is also a way to get information
  • Dear Bored X 2: What's the goal of the person who monitors those he snidely refers to as "bored"?
  • Subject: The goal

My goal, obviously, was simply to determine the goal of this board...

now that wasn't too difficult to understand, was it?
  • The goal of the board is discuss issues that the people of Park Slope consider to be of importance. There, that wasn't so hard, was it?
