Graphic designer looking for office space in Park Slope — Brooklynian

Graphic designer looking for office space in Park Slope

Does anyone know where I could find a small office space in the Slope? Or perhaps a space where I can rent a desk / small common area? I can spend about $450 - $550/month right now.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Would someplace like this work for you?

  • do you want an office space or a studio-type space?
  • Brooklyn Creative league is opening in march in the slope, you can rent a monthly space:

  • Here's another one in Ditmas Park:

  • I just saw someone advertising an office space in the garden area of their brownstone yesterday, I believe they want about $900 a month for it though.

Thanks, but I'm on the phone a lot with clients, so I'm not sure that this would work. Looks like a great place though!

Either could work! As long as I could put up some kind of small divider for privacy and also be able to have a phone conversation with clients without there being too much background noise.
  • go on craigslist. They have alot of things.

  • i have a studio on a floor of studios in a warehouse in sunset park (36th street), it's apparently the new "soho". each space is enclosed till about the top foot (and you're allowed to close off that space if you'd like).

it could be warmer. that said, it's very quiet--so if you make noise, you're SOL--a block from costco, and tons of great artist studio-mates, if you're interested, PM me.

Which is why a mentioned it because it was started for people for whom

"telephone work is essential to what they do,"

Yea, I think they do have a quiet place too but....

I don't have a space for you, but I'm a graphic designer out of work, do you have any work I could do for you? I've been unemployed since November, and I'm desperate for any extra cash!

Brooklynpotter: thanks for the lead! While costco is tempting, 36th is a bit out of my way right now. I'm checking out the space at brooklyn creative league tomorrow. It's close to my apt. and within my price range. I'll let you all know what it's like after I see it! Thanks again!
