Travel to Guatemala and Costa Rica

tripadvisor is a good site for this kind of question. Its been 25 years since I was in that area (!), but I suspect it is still a pain in the butt to get from Guatemala to Costa Rica. Sounds like maybe you want to make this two different trips...

Subject: Costa rica
I recommend Costa Rica Adventures. We planned where we wanted to go and they put it together for us including all the transfers between towns, airports etc which in most cases was a personal driver, even on a 4 hour trip. It actually cost less than booking direct with the hotels so the connections were effectively free!
Costa Rica is just wonderful. You'll love it. -
