Pacific and Washington Cat Colony -- Fosters Homes Needed

Ugh, yet another colony of cats found in the 'hood. This time on Pacific and Washington. I went there last night to trap one or two and came back with 8! There are plenty more according to the neighbors there. Of the 8, at least 2 are friendly (obvious recession dumps). If anyone has room in their home/heart to foster a kitty please PM me. They are very, very sweet. A little less than a year old.

Also, if you live on this block and know about these cats please share whatever info you have. Does anyone feed these guys? Anyone willing to start? They seemed very, very hungry.

  • Any long haired ones? A customer of mine "lost" her cat last year. Actually her ex-husband knew how much she loved the cat and drove it over to Pacific and Vanderbilt and dumped her there. She looked for her for months, posted flyers, and even climbed over the fence of the church. I've always hoped that someone just took her cat in, she was a beautiful long haired tabby sort.

Anyway, I'll post a sign at work. I know a couple people were thinking about fostering. Ooh, and my mom said she knows someone who might want to start!
  • Awesome! No long-haireds. But, one of the orange tabbies turned out to be a female! So rare! I'll get photos up soon.
Can I bring flyers to the store for the two adults I have in foster who are looking for homes?
  • Definitely! Email me the info about them too and I'll forward it to my mom. That's only the 2nd female orange tabby I've ever heard of. My coworker's orange tabby is female too!

You must check out Louie (she is a girl) at Acme Pet. She is an orange tabby with an extra toe and cross-eyed - which makes her even cuter!

I passed this post along to someone on one of my parents' list serv.

Knuckles is still there and now they have 2 more Louie and Iroquois (a little black and white one)

I agree Knuckles is a great name and I love the collar they gave him. Louie has the same collar only in a kitten version.
