....yes, I'll bring the balloons too, they are rapidly deflating. ....but they'll probably be enough for us to talk like Mickey Mouse if we are so inclined.

but, I've thrown away the "welcome little one" centerpiece and the plastic "baby shower" banner.
I'm not getting them out of the trash.
    Not even for Mama.
    Nope.
    Go away.
    not doing it.

I also opened the windows to release some of the estrogen.
  • You think you have enough for me to not bring anything edible, Why? I will bring something drinkable.
  • I have snacks for 10 people for 2 hours.

or, a version of dinner for 6 people.

Yeah, that sounds like plenty. Thanks Why (and Mrs. Why).

    Um...baba ghanoush?

Or maybe Why really did mean baba knosh.

  • Ok, I just read what Kings is all about. The biblical story of King David.
Sounds pretty awesome actually. I'm in!!

Hey Whynot, so you got knoshed while your wife have a baby shower? [-X
  • (The relationship between David and Jonathan, Saul's rightful heir, is a central element in the story of David's rise. Jonathan recognises David as the rightful king, and 1 Samuel 18 - "Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul" - implies a close personal relationship between the two.[4] There is debate amongst scholars whether this relationship was platonic, romantic but chaste, or sexual, but it is depicted favourably in the Biblical narrative.)
Will there be some hot man-on-man action in this TV show?? :D
My mind is in the gutter today.

As long as you don't come bearing jager, everyone is welcome.
  • Mmmm man on man could be hot but not on a bible show.

    Mougy isn't it "bearing?"
  • Yes, yes it is.
  • I see. All the interesting threads have moved to "the lounge". Hmmm...
  • Eric and I shall be there tonight with limes in tote
  • Christina wrote: I see. All the interesting threads have moved to "the lounge". Hmmm...
    sort of true.

After being moved to the lounge so often, a lot of threads begin here.

...kinda like a friend in high school who would hang out in detention, whether he had it or not. All his friends were there, and he would just tell the teacher that "they must have lost the paperwork, I'm supposed to be here. I don't want to get in more trouble just because I wasn't here and you told me to leave"
