My dog needs a bath

I finally took the dog in for a much needed nail clipping and a "sanitary shave" at Paws.

The groomer was Jill, and she seemed good with my dog who was totally freaked out about me leaving him. I also asked them to buzz his belly, which they thought was really strange (I know other dogs with this summer 'do). The temps this weekend were harsh on my hairy, dark colored dog so I figure a little clip on his belly will help him cool off better when he lays down on a nice cool surface.

He was happy to get out of there but not upset or traumatized at all, other than refusing to show me his stomach for a while. He seems to be panting much less since the cut.

So, nails, butt trim, and a buzzed strip all down his belly were something like $45. Alone, nails are $15 and the sanitary shave is $10. If his belly hair grow back quickly, I might consider just getting a trimmer and doing it myself (might need a video camera to capture that struggle).

The only thing Oscar ever chomped was kibble. And they have muzzles for aggressive dogs.
