Large Photo Prints in the Neighborhood

Is there anywhere around here that people recommend for getting prints?

I want between one and five 16"x20" prints. Smaller prints are easy enough to get, but for larger ones I've found it tougher to find places. I could just use snapfish if there is nothing around here.

  • I haven't had any luck w/affordable and effective joints here in the hood... I do highly recommend Adorama- their online/upload system is MUCH more stable and it doesn't down-res your photos (like Snapfish). You can either pick it up at their Manhattan location or get it shipped... Prints are SOLID.
  • Mpix is another online option. I've used them for larger stuff and been very happy. I know some photographers who use it for pro prints.
  • Thanks! I Just looked at Adorama and they are having a sale on 16x20's for just $5, it's great!
  • Mpix looks good too, and if Adorama wasn't running that great sale now I might use them.
  • Adorama is also where the pro's go... it's an institution.
  • Subject: PEPhoto

PEPhoto is a great way to get enlargements. They also have an easy to work with uploading tool and best thing about them UNLIKE adorama (my main option for years), they deliver to many locations in and around park slope. I believe the pickup fee is $1.95. Also, they use good quality print paper and are cheaper than any other service I've seen and they don't need sales to be the cheapest. Hope this helps.

Mpix is also really nice, but waaaayyy too expensive.
