Being a landlord these days is not that easy, especially if you want to do the right thing & not overcharge for the rent of your place. I'm trying to balance just that. so how much do you think I should price my 3/4 bed apt. in Crown Heights that I want to put on the rental market?

Mamacita- I'd never heard of rentometer, but I found this information out about them. Seems that it was a tool originally marketed towards real estate owners and investors.

Try StreetEasy.com. It rocks for both rentals and sales. It searches all of the major websites and compiles data in a very user friendly format.

having just searched for and found an apartment in the neighborhood, i'd say it ranges from about $500 to $750 per bedroom, depending on location and how old/new the building is. my new 3br off the S at Park Place is $1900.

there are also much pricier options in buildings like the jewish hospital, but i wouldn't say those prices are normal for the area.
