What do I do on a Friday night in CH?
I just recently moved to Brooklyn specifically CH, and still always party in the city… do you have any suggestions of lounges/clubs that are fun in this area…
I am pretty open to all types of music and people… (except dirty ol’ BK men… but that’s a story for a different thread)

Tavern On Nostrand has a jazz combo on some Fridays, it's a nice place for dinner, or even just a drink. ummm, you Really DO have to head over to PH for bars, restaurants, etc....

There aren't too many places yet that I'd recommend for a Friday night regular hangout spot, but I think that we need to just start adopt a place and see if we can turn it into a decent spot. Tavern on Nostrand is definitely one.
Perhaps IFE? It's on Nostrand and Dean, I believe.
Some folks I know are making a trip to Cafe 400 this evening for an after work drink. When we did our happy hour we had the whole place to ourselves. I'll report back and let you know what the scoop is on the Friday night happenings. -
what about Starlight? I've never been but remember a couple of threads a while back where people had good things to say about the place.

oh these places sound interesting... where is Starlight and Cafe 400?

use the search function to search for starlight and cafe 400 in the forums, they've been discussed before so there's some good info on them.

Subject: club 400
Club 400 is located on nostrand between park pl and sterling pl. this place was very nice. karookee on friday, the food and drinks were great.
I can't wait to attend the next meet and greet. -
Starlite is a real hole in the wall, also the oldest black owned, black run gay bar in NYC, on Nostrand and Bergen. It's fun for a drink or dancing on Saturdays and everyone who works there is super nice.

BTW, the building that Starlite is in is for sale. Anyone have any idea what's happening to the bar?
