dirty water?

We live on 14th and 4th and have been experiencing brown water off and on for about a month...hot or cold water. I filed a complaint with DEP, but wanted to see if others were having an issue.

  i noticed this recently as well (3rd ave & 8th st.). mine lasted a few hours and then went away. what did the DEP say?

  Same here last week on 7th st bt 5-6th aves. I let it run for 20ish minutes and it went away.

  I think they are replacing pipes from 15th street and Prospect Park West down which might be the cause.
