The Food Maven: Brooklyn BBQ

Ok, first off, I'm excited there is a decent BBQ joint in Brooklyn. I've never been to Kings County BBQ and will definately check it out.

I have some major issues about this supposed "maven" of food when he has no idea about BBQ and doesn't bother to do any research to find out where he should go to try different kinds of BBQ. He just "heads south" and drives through "some of the best bbq regions in the country" and is surprised he never had brisket in North Carolina or Virginia.

Lame. One could argue he drove through ONE of the best bbq regions in the country. With no idea where to go in said region I can only imagine he didn't go to any good bbq joints.

my bet is no one told him where the good bbq was because they wanted him to leave.
