LOOKING FOR SPACE TO PLANT A MINI GARDEN? — Brooklynian

LOOKING FOR SPACE TO PLANT A MINI GARDEN?

I live on the border of Crown Heights/Prosect Heights. Recently I moved to the first floor in my building. The fenced in backyard has a concrete floor so there's no soil, but except for a BBQ once or twice in the summer for the building residents, I am pretty much the only one who uses it. I am excited about starting a garden, but 1) I am a student and don't have much $ to buy stuff, and 2) well, I've never had a garden, but I bought a houseplant a month ago and it hasn't died yet, lol.

So if you'd like space to garden, its free, its private, and open to anyone interested.

My schedule is really flexible so you'll have access most of the time.

I would love to learn how to grow herbs, possibly some veggies. I'd love to put in a fountain and have a peaceful, private sanctuary to escape to.

I would also love to open the place up for BBQ's anytime over the summer, so if you'd like to use the space for parties or just to hang out and listen to music, whatever.

Call me if you're interested in checking the place out. 347-243-8021 april

  • Where in the Hts are you? There are several community gardens in the vicinity. Gardening with friends can be a lot of fun.
