Hi. I need a Notary Public in the neighborhood but don't know how to go about finding one. Suggestions?

  • I've noticed that there's one in the realtor/law office on the corner of 6th and 10th.
  • You can try Ansonia Chemist 7 Av near 10th Street 718-965-0565
  • Go to your bank, they should be nice to you.

But any law or real estate office will have one around, but they don't have to be nice to you.
  • Royal Slope Realty..off the corner of 5th ave and 8th street. Mike Schaum will be very nice to you and get what you need notarized.
  • TD Bank on 5th and 3rd shouldn't give you a hard time either.
  • The jewelry store on the corner 7th ave and 8th St.
  • no

it's on the south coast of calidon
  • Dammit. Yer making me miss Russo. Best. Notary. Ever.

  • there's a CPA in an office in the Chase bank building (above and behind the bank, entrance on Carroll) at 7th and Carroll who does notary

Even a bank that you don't have an account in might help. I kind of hate banks, but I gotta say many people who work in banks in Park Slope offer pleasant face time.
  • Like raw said, even banks you don't have an account with are likely to help out, and the max they can charge by law for notary service is a few dollars (less than $5, I believe).
  • Subject: I just became a notary!

Hi, I just passed the notary test and am waiting to get my official number and stamp. I would be happy to help within the next several weeks after I receive these items. I live in Carroll Gardens, very close to Park Slope.
  • Thanks, KPlano... I want to get these documents signed this weekend, but if that doesn't happen, I'll definitely contact you. I'm assuming you will be nice to me? (Are Notaries notorious for not being nice? I had no idea!)
  • Subject: I'm NIce!

Haha I didn't know that about notaries. I don't run in a circle of them or anything, I just took the exam because I work for a real estate firm and we always need things notarized. It is more convenient to have some one in house. If you find yourself in need of a notary again in the future feel free to contact me, i don't bite!
  • Jewelry store on 8th St and 7 th Ave.
  • I'm a notary.
