    We'll take an easy route to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn with great views of lower New York Bay. We'll view the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge who's eastern foundation was once of Fort Lafayette. It's greatest notoriety was putting Americans in jail without a trial. We'll also take a look at a fifty-eight ton cannon that had to be loaded by derrick. Bring lock and money for lunch.

    Not a hot start for me this year, on top of not doing this ride yesterday (sorry all) I also just realized that the 5 boro bike ride on May 3 is sold out already. Arrgghh! Someone buy me a calendar.

    I almost rode down to rockaway beach earlier, just to make use of the weather.

    of course now that it's 5pm I regret getting lazy and not going..

    Christina rode the 20 miles as part of some other group, then decided there was no need to do two loops with me in addition.

    ...so, no one rode.

    But the interest is building.

    It is supposed to rain on Sat (4/4/09), but be nice on Sunday.

    So who is in for a Sunday afternoon bike ride?

    I suggest meeting at 4 pm at the park entrance, twice around, then beer at Sepia.

    P.S. If I know you, I'll lend you a bike. (I have access to my nieghbors 2 bikes)
