just curious.. what does that mean? MOD NOTES; TAGS FIXED?

Comments

  • it means you formatted your quote box wrong and it looked funny and carnivore edited the post for you.
  • Veets, sometimes things break when posts are quoted.

The mod note above just means that a moderator noticed that formatting was broken on a quotation like this...
"raven" wrote: Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
    Only this, and nothing more."/quote]

...so the moderator went in to correct the quote bbcode tags (the [ quote ] thingies) to properly display as follows:

[quote=raven]Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
    Only this, and nothing more."...
    Just a little housekeeping. :D
  • Your comment was included as part of the quote so it looked like pima said it. I moved the end quote tag to the end of the quote for you.
  • Thanks for clarificatio
No big deal but I was curious since I post often and that never happened before.
  • No problem. I think a lot of us used to just fix them without leaving notes. I started leaving mod notes when I do it in case you intended for it to appear that way for some reason, so you wouldn't think I was trying to change what you were saying.
