Churrascaria field trip: POLL CLOSED

I have a car. If we do decide to go to Queens, I could take up to four passengers.
-
Let's see how many people we have. Plataforma also has an annoying policy whereby large group reservations are limited to (I think) 2 hours. Last time I was setting up a meal like this for a big group, we wound up going to Newark instead because of this.
Candicissima had her birthday at a churrascaria downtown a few years ago. We were a big group and there was no cap on the duration, but I forget the name of the place. Maybe she can remind me... -
Wouldn't that be Churrascaria TriBeCa, on West Broadway?
According to Zagat, it rates 20 on food and costs $45. It was fine the one time we went there, although I don't remember the salad bar as being quite as tempting as that at the one uptown. -

I think that might be it. I don't know about the salad bar though. I didn't go to it at all.

I'm all hardcore like that with my churrascaria. m/ (O.o) m/ -

It was the Tribeca one. My vegetarian friend (who was a massively good sport to come with us to meat heaven) enjoyed the salad bar -
day time would be good for me
. i love food
. (as long as i don't take any jobs before this) -

Thank you for your protection.
So, I am hear-by naming myself Em's older sister and protecting her from Carny and his pork. If you take my little sis to your meatfest you better not feed her pork! You can however feed me pork and skirt steak... and sushi...
If I go I will make sure to sit 4 maybe 8 people away from him.
I think it best if him and Mougar sit next to each other.
Now , I checked the website and that's a whole lotta food.
I will have to fast 2 days before in order to enjoy all that stuff.
Oooh , and the desserts are a whole 'nother bag of bitches.
It's like porn....yeah...dessert porn. For the dessert portion of the meal, a dessert cart will appear; you can choose from a vast varieties of Brazilian and International delights.
Chocolate Mousse Cake, Coconut Cake with Caramel filling, Flan, Coconut Flan in a Prune Sauce, Napoleon, Passion Fruit Mousse, Papaya Cream and many more delectable desserts. -
we are going to feast
-

If you have room for dessert at a churrascaria, then you've failed.

The question remains... when?

If I see it , I'll make room for it. =P~ -
04/20 would work for me (+1). Do we have a date poll anywhere?
-
And we should also poll Tribeca vs midtown vs Queens.
-
Vote in the poll above. Because there are so many options, I anticipate this will be too split to call as is, but I'll combine the most popular day (all locations) and most popular destination (all dates). Sorry if it's confusing, but phpbb doesn't let me make 2 polls in the same thread, so this was the only way to ask both questions.

booklaw wrote: There are many delicious things to eat at the salad bar. So many, in fact, that it is all too easy to fill up before the meat even begins to come around.
My problem is I'll fill up on the salad bar and then re-fill up on dinner.
-
I vote any day but would rather tribeca or midtown
-
If it's on 4/20 will there be a pre-dinner appetite enducing smoke session?
-
Love Churrascaria. No can do -- out of town.
-
I'm out....... OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [-(
Next time. -
You're out of the closet Em???

Yes , and I'm crushin' on the beave.
It would have been you but , you ain't got no job and I'm the only one in the relationship allowed that luxury.
I can't do anything starting Thursday for about a week or 2. SO , I can't go eat yummy meat.

Mougar: See, its easy. If Em can do it, you can do it.
EM and Ana: Enjoy.
Mama: Whatcha gonna use to give Em a big beatdown? -
Wait, so Em is the one with the big sausage?!
-
Carnivore wrote: Wait, so Em is the one with the big sausage?!
What?!! I will not comment on sausage. I have nothing to do with sausage.
I mean I do but, not like that. You know , like , WHATEVER!!!!
Damn you , Carnivore.
I gotta go. -
VOTE VOTE VOTE BEFORE TOMORROW AT 5PM.
Then I'm closing the poll and starting a new thread to get a head count. -
OK, so 4/20 won for the date, and midtown won for location. I'm locking this and starting a thread for head count.
Howdy, Stranger!
