Could anyone fill me in on what they are spending on the basics monthly of Brooklyn living, non-ostentatious?

If I am moving cold-turkey, with not great credit, how much deposit for electric, phone, cable or internet, etc?

Are people dropping their land-lines there and going cell like they are here in Texas?

Never mind rents, I am up on that...(choke) Is it common to have water or heat included? this is what I remember from 20 years ago.

Lastly, who owns a chihuahua and how much trouble is that? I know they are trouble...you know...but they are so small...

really depends on your area you live in

. some area's are cheaper on the wallet than others. if you can cook your own food. its probably cheap as back home. we have a bj's and costco here too

. yeah you can drop the land lines. that depends on building what you get to pay. sometimes they cover electric other times they dont. but most they cover water and heat. if you dont mind moving in more into the borough. i suggest bensonhurts/gravesend

. cheap and still very safe

. but hell of a train ride to city. long long ride.

ps small dogs might not be a problem, talk to the individual owners
