Yarn Monkeys and the power of suggestion

So I walked into Prospect Perk this morning to pick up a cuppa joe.

Oddly enough, hadn't been there to try theirs before, but have passed it so many times before that I was resolved to finally just go there already.

Anywho, so I walk in, get a cup of the house blend and am on my way over to put a tad of sugar and milk in it when I am stopped dead in my tracks by a sign with this guy on it there by the fixins'...



And before I could even stop for a moment long enough to actually read the sign I found myself seized by a Manchurian Candidate moment where I had the sudden, immediate urge to yell

KNIT YOUR ASS OFF!!

Fortunately for myself and others present I was able to cut the volume before the words left my mouth, and all order and peace remained preserved.

Whew! That was a close one.

Just goes to show you what repetition and the power of suggestion will do when you least expect it (perhaps resulting in a striped cap or stockings if it goes fully unchecked).
