The "Park Slope Garage" on Sterling place btw Washington and Classon is being rennovated, or more likely torn down to make way for Brand New Condos! I know what you all are thinking, Park slope garage? isn't that in Crown Heights? The answer would be yes, but on the other hand they've been abandoned for like 8ish years I hear and they were infested with rats. I think it'll be neato. I hope anyway.

  • I like (the outside of) that building! I thought that it might be a cool place to start a bar/club or even the right retail establishment...
  • i've always wondered about that place! thanks for the background, and news. :)
  • good that place was like a grave yard to me :p.
  • I always thought it'd be cool to have a gallery or studio space there. I liked the Irony of "Park Slope Garage" being in Crown Heights. but I guess somone used to think it was the slope...
  • I was over by there yesterday and the Park Slope Garage is GONE. Completely torn down with a construction fence around it. So much for repurposing the building...

Superb! Fresh hordes of homeless mice looking for shelter! Follow the poop trail to behind my stove!
  • for about 2 months before they started work on the place they places lots of rat poison in all of those buildings, Sometimes people think ahead. I wanted to get a pic of the facade with the roof and guts gone, looked kinda cool. it'll be apts, I hope nice ones that are affordable, I think the nabe will be pretty hot in 2 years and they tore down buildings across the street a year ago(?) new influx of residents could be a good thing. the only constant is change.
