Building info? — Brooklynian

Building info?

Hi, guys!
Anybody happen to inhabit (or know someone who does) 540 St Johns Pl? We're new in the building & someone's been circulating a scary flyer about bedbugs, roaches & mice? Yikes!
Haven't seen anything yet (save ONE roach when we moved in a few weeks ago). I'm scurred! :pale:
Any info would be much appreciated.

I've been slithering around like an anonymous lil' snake here for quite some time. I look forward to participating!

  • Go to the NYC Department of Building Building Information System and check out any violations.

I am not sure that they record pest infestations.
  • I'm shocked that Carnivore or someone else hasn't flogged you for posting this on the Prospect Heights board! Oh well, give it a few more hours....

In any event, welcome to the neighborhood and the board!

MOD NOTE: Moved as requested. :P - J

Yeah, I checked out that site last night. Either they don't record them...or I'm in the clear. Woo-hoo!

Unfortunately, I'm inclined to believe it may be the former. Only because I skimmed over the violation codes & saw nothing pest related.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

HA! Being the regular lurker that I am...I was WAITING for that one.

Btw...I love me some ketchup on my hot dogs!

Just for the record...I chose to post that on the PH board because I'm finding that I'm so close to the border that often what's being discussed there is of just as much interest to me as what's being posted in CH. Dare I say, even more so most times. I'm a block from Washington. So, whatevs.

Guess I picked a side. *Draws proverbial line in the sand.*

    I kid.

Hi, the DOB website isn't the place to check for this, look at the HPD website http://167.153.4.71/hpdonline/provide_address.aspx

Unfortunately, you won't like what you find. :(
