How is the salad bar??? Need reports!!!!

How could they have possibly started from scratch with a raw space and end up with the same crappy ordering system? Is there some kind of mental block that prevents them from seeing how messed up it is?
-
Nothing more brooklyn than having dese guys yell out your bagel order. I like.
-
Did the bring the same bagels with them or get better ones?

I don't eat bagels, they pollute your body. I eat carrots and McDonalds instead! :flower: :sunny: :pig:

yeah! I am going over to say "hi" to my boys now.

From an article about Paul Auster:
"But Auster has never put his Brooklyn - specifically, Park Slope - so front and center in a book (and on the cover, too. Yes, that’s the corner of Seventh Avenue and Second Street on the book jacket).
The book’s main character, retired insurance salesman Nathan Glass, often grabs a sandwich at La Bagel Delight, a Seventh Avenue joint famous for its overstuffed sandwiches and garrulous countermen.
As narrator Glass puts it, "One Sunday morning, I went into a crowded deli with the absurd name of La Bagel Delight. I was intending to ask for a cinnamon-raisin bagel, but the word caught in my mouth and came out as cinnamon-reagan.
"Without missing a beat, the young guy behind the counter answered: ’Sorry, we don’t have any of those. How about a pumpernixon instead?’ Fast. So damned fast, I nearly wet my drawers." " -
Went in there....much nicer space. I agree. Still not stepping within 50 feet of there on a weekend morning.

Went to the new location Sunday. Everything bagel with lox, scallion cream cheese and tomato. Was excellent. Bagel was warm, lox was tasty. Only complaint - too much cream cheese. Order was taken within 30 seconds of walking in, and I walked out with my bagel about 5 min later. I've always been a fan of La Bagel although sometimes they're a bit too big. I've had some amazing bagels from Bagel Hole but they're just too inconsistent.

only complaint about la bagel is exactly that - they treat cream cheese like a meat, and i wind up taking half of it off (its a spread people!)
not a big deal, just feels wasteful -
