Need someone to remove a rock!
Whilst gardening I unearthed a bolder about two and a half feet across and about one foot deep; too heavy for me to lift. The previous owners had an extensive rockery of which this was obviously part. I need to hire some muscle to take it away and dispose of it. Could well be a two man job and whoever takes on this little job would need to have their own transport as I have no car.
Maybe someone would even like it for their garden?
Any suggestions?

Its around river rock ( dimensions in original post ) smooth and pretty dense by the looks of things-not sure how easy it would be to smash, though I have no experience of such things!
Its in the back garden of a brownstone so it would need to be carried through the basement of the house to the street where , in theory, you could park a car directly outside, depending on availability.
I'll try and get a pick later today if that makes a difference. -
you have all confused a rock with a rann

Damn... I've been waiting all my adult life for that Zeta beam... I even went to work for DC Comics for several years... but I'm still waiting.

Subject: The even more mysterious rock!
Well..having dug further around the famous rock I now discover that is is not only not a rock, but it is concrete and that it is three and a half feet across and seems to be the top of a column of concrete going down I know not how far! I can't fathom out what it is and whether is is serving a purpose. 'Drunken Revival' had volunteered for the job but now I question whether it will be possible to remove it at all. Mysterious!
I don't know how I would find out more about what lies beneath our neighborhood gardens but maybe I will need to do a separate post for that! -

I think that we all need pictures of this mysterious object.
