So what? Is anyone dropping dough on the Derby tomorrow or will I be the only gambler at OTB? I already have a headache from staring at the Racing Form. Anyone else? Should I go by the Beyers or gamble on a longshot? Should I go with the feel-good story--high school teacher owner/trainer (General Quarters) horse?

    I will be betting!!!!! The backyard hat wearing frozen julep drinking party I attend ever year has an interesting system. We all bring a red rose and the earlier you get to the party, the horse with the better odds you are assigned to. Whoever wins gets all the red roses!

    I didn't see any mention of the derby anywhere in the city this year, but have a Kentucky buddy who throws a party every year. Best name in the race? Atomic Rain.

    if I was not slightly hungover I would do this. I feel like we were out till like 4am last night but I got home at 11:30 haha
