new shop - skateboards, flowers and dry goods

Can't say what motivated the owners to open such an unusual mix of a shop..(skateboards, flowers, used merchandice), but perhaps it had something to do with their interests? Did stop in though and made a purchase (very inexpensive, used gardening tools). I imagine you need a skate person though to comment on that part of the store. Can't say I know much about skateboards.

The comments on Brownstoner are tired, as usual. They made me loathe my neighbors, when in fact, offline I tend to find people a-ok.

I kind of like the idea. Reminds me of a shop near where I used to live which both sold sewing machines and repaired bicycles. I always imagined the owner as a little kid being told he'd have to decide which one to do and he looks up all confused saying "Why?"
