I think they still have the blueberry beer - Sea Dog Brewing Co, from Maine.
*** the best ever thin crusted pizza!! *** - with mushrooms is my fave...yumm!
personally, amorina's doesn't even compare to this!
soda's pizza is sooo good...im getting hungry right now just thinking about it.
oh by the way...the beer selection is good too....although they had at one point this great blueberry beer (i know it sounds odd) but it was pretty good...but they don't have it anymore...does anyone know the name of it?? -

yeah, they just got it back. -
Okay, I'll admit that the pizza is good. Probably the only good food in that place.

But, if you go out to the patio and watch the guys in the kitchen through the window, you might not want to ever eat there again.

this is true of around 80% of all restaurants. in my old neighborhood, I used to eat breakfast regularly at this place called Pan Pan. anyway, they had an open counter and while you couldn't see the cooks, you could see how they kept milk cold, how they washed their dishes, how they made ice, etc. I could count 10 health code violations in about 5 seconds. but damn - they made great food for cheap. -

Agreed, never EVER watch the cooks cooking or look in the kitchen in general. Just close your eyes and eat. It's safer and what you don't know *hopefully* won't kill you!

I wanna try Soda's Pizza though! -
The pizza is like soggy, underseasoned cardboard. But as with most things that becomes not such a bad thing after a fistful of drinks, so bon appetit!
And don't try the burgers. I have seen the way they are manhandled in the kitchen. It's like porn, with ground beef. Don't go there. -

the cracker (as in thin and crips) pizza is great - make sure you get at least one topping, though. the sauce is a bit bland. -

What's wrong with porn with ground beef? -

The pizza was good. I tried the shroom/olive one the otherday, after reading this post. yum.

You've got to try the pierogies, especially fried. The potato and cheese are best, even better (gasp! I can't believe I'm saying this) than the pork or kasha and bacon ones. -

Tsk, tsk. Someone needs a renaming!

If only they would provide the public with the mixed perogie option that we all yearn for.
In lieu of that, I choose the pork. Fried, of course. -

hahaha, maybe, but at least carnivore knew not to suggest the pork ones to me! -

Sadly, I can't claim credit for that one (it was nybt), although it would be totally like me. For example, I go through several cans of Spam a month! -

I don't sink as low as spam--actually, I've never had it--but I do have a weakness for deviled ham. yum. -

I wouldn't inflict that upon my guests. It's all for me...   -

that's some cover you got there. put out the wine and cheese and olives for guests while secretly scarfing down spam in the kitchen... -

Spam is awesome.
