Good Mechanic?

Does anyone know anything about mechanics in P.H.? I've gone to Nok on St. Marks and thought they seemed reliable, but my spouse was less sure. Any recomendations/warnings?

P.S. my car is way old and has a million things wrong with it but I'd like to just keep it running safely.

  • I can't do anything to allay your spouse's fears, but I use NOK whenever I need a mechanic and have nothing but good things to say about them and would recommend them to anyone.
  • Rohon (The owner of Nok) is extremely personable and reliable, as well as Simon (His lead mechanic). But the rest of the crew are in a learning transition.
Recently, I was disappointed with his remedy of our cars A/C. But in the past he's been consistantly reliable. His prices have, also, increased of late

That's the best you can do? No insults? No putdowns? No "Long Live GWB, you unemployed commie pinkos who can't afford new cars"?

Just kidding. Like I said, I knew you were capable of making a meaningful contribution to the board.

  • Sorry dailyheights,
It was meant for you, but I was, also, reading Dave's short on the subway rider, lol, on his website.
I guess Don Juan was correct when he did one thing at a time

Are you responsible for the weird Nancy Reagan-esque banner at the top of the screen?

It's not just annoying- it's decidedly untrue! Look at our professional athletes. Not to mention that our last 2 Presidents have both been admitted drug users.

    Papa Bush used? What, aspirin?
  • No- I mean Dubbya and Bubba. Daddy Bush just ran drugs (former head of the CIA, remember?) but didn't use them himself.
  • If I'm an admitted loser, does that mean I can just say fuck it and fire up the crack pipe?...oh...wait...too late. 8)
  • I guess when you said "last 2" I thought you meant the last 2 ones whose terms had finished.
